Restoring Hope Through Sight
AIHWA has moved to another level of its integrated healthcare program with the official introduction of aihwa Vision Care to the world. aihwa Vision Care is presently located in the Medical Clinic building but because of the level of patronage and patient traffic, we are planning to design a small separate clinic outside for our numerous patients. Our Vision Care runs a complete eye clinic with different eye care specialists. We remain so grateful to all of you who generously supported and are still supporting our levels of progress in providing the best and most affordable integrated healthcare to our patients.
In January 2023, our eye clinic served more than 523 patients.
We thank our dedicated staff members who have been working round the clock to make sure all those who registered for our free eye care services are attended to. Glaucoma, presbyopia, and cataract are the more prevalent cases among our patients. Presently, we can conduct different kinds of eye surgeries in our clinic.
Our beloved men and women in the military and paramilitary are among the beneficiaries of our free eye care services. aihwa Vision Care introduced and launched a “thank you” mission to them in their different barracks. About 300 service men and women trooped out in their numbers to receive free eye examinations and free eyeglasses from aihwa Vision Care. It has been a wonderful and fulfilling experience to make a difference where attention was very minimal. Again, thank you for your prayers and support.
With kind regards,
Dr. Cynthia Onyeka Egbunwoke, OD, MNOA
Director aihwa Vision Care
